ABC News is the news division of the American Broadcasting Company, owned by the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company, and was founded in June 15, 1945. The news source was shown in a very detailed format such as having primary information and if there was any "missing parts" to the source, there were hyperlinks to add information that will take you to a fully detailed report. The news report was about the so far youngest woman to win a Congress Election in America's history: Alexandria Ocaso-Ortez. She is Puerto Rican, economist and an international relations major and she was announced to be the youngest woman in winning an election day with the democrat party. She started off her campaign by reaching out to people who would live in inaccessible areas in the 14th district in New York and by talking to them into voting. These pasts midterms election have made history in the US. First, with the announcement of two Somali-American winning the winning a position for the house and the announcement of a openly-homosexual democrat winning a position as well. Then, Alexandria Ocaso-Ortez making history by being the youngest woman winning elections in the US. She was always involve in community issues. After her father died, she had to work harder to get through the hard moments. She also worked in Bernie Sander's presidential campaign, and has called for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Medicare-for-all and a federal jobs guarantee, as well as a crack down on Wall Street. In my opinion, ABC news is one of the best news sources I have encountered with because of the presentation of their page. As well as, the interaction that they have with their audience by adding different hyperlinks to suscribe or look up for more info besides the news presented.
