The New York Post is a daily newspaper in New York City founded in 1801. This newspaper page has a format with different sections well distributed. However, my first impression of this page was if I was reading a page coming from a comic movie. I could not take the format of the page serious. The fact that it includes a section called Page Six to talk about celebrities gave the page a less credible image. The news report I read about was the phenomenon El Niño forming by February. It is known to be one of the biggest natural disasters that occur along the Equator. It affects several countries especially those along the Pacific Ocean. The main effects of this natural disaster are flooding, temperature raise and destruction of crops. Although El Niño impacts negatively and occurs every few years, it was prognosticated to be weaker this February than it was in 2015-2016. This news report had an informative sense for those not only living in the main affected areas, but to those in the US for example. It is a worldwide scale natural disaster. It should be taken with well planned precautions. Many of this crops being affected come to the US and the food can be contaminated causing thousands of bacterias and viruses to form. There should also be support to those people being directly affected since this is a major escale problem. Furthermore, this natural disaster affects countries not as powerful as the first-world countries. So, it would be a good idea to start recruiting volunteers and supplies for those who are gonna be affected because the disaster is going to happen. Overall, this news source was poorly developed compared to the other ones I have visited before. I would not visit this page in the future to find credible articles.
