CE BLOG 2
Fox News is a United States pay television news channel owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox founded in October 7, 1996. Fox News has a well developed page. The sections and the information are easy to find. For each article there is a video that makes the article more fun to read/watch. Besides, at the bottom of each report, there are links to other articles related to the topic being discussed. The news report I read about talked about the caravan coming from Central America to the US through the border and how Mexicans see this negatively. The caravan has been forming since months ago and their main purpose is to cross the Mexican-American border. A poll showed that more than half of the population of Mexico encourages the American authorities to block the borders for the caravan to cross. The poll also showed that around 70% of the Mexican population disapproves the fact that people formed in caravans want to cross the Mexican-American border by force and with no legal documentation. This also adds up to the fact that many people are being affected by this caravan. People that live in the areas that these caravans pass by. I believe that these people have the need to cross the border and have nothing to lose. Most of these people are in danger in their own countries. They need a way to escape. Their intentions are good, but their ways are not. It is of course the right for the US government to act as strict as needed to prevent the entrance of this caravan. Such mass of people is angry and will do anything to get what they want. I support the idea of the Mexican people of disapproving the formation of these caravans and that not only the US but the Mexican government should act wisely. Overall, this page was clear with its report and had a well distributed pathos, ethos, logos. I liked the idea of including a video which will follow you through the entire article even if you scroll down.
