This article about the abuse allegations against catholic bishops was the tragic death of a young seven-year-old boy was written by Bill Hutchinson who is a reporter for ABC news. ABC news is a very well know and influential newspapers in America at this time, and although they claim to be 100% impartial, in recent times they have seemed to lean more towards a republican party point of view.



                                                Summary of Article 

This article addresses the recent death of a young seven-year-old boy who was waiting alone at his school bus stop as he dd every morning, when a can traveling at a low rate of speed hit the little boy. The drive left the scene, as he did not realize that he had hit the boy. Investigations into the truth of that matter are still underway. Unfortunately, when the little boy was found by the bus driver, he had already passed away. This article then goes on to briefly give detail of several more deadly school bus accidents that have happened in the past week.



                                                     Analysis
The goal of this article was to share a very disturbing piece of information to the public. The author of this article did a very good job staying impassive and not flavoring the piece with emotion. He merely told the facts of the case. This article was very well written and made it very easy to understand what happened, and also links it to several of incidents that had append recently.





                                                  Opinion 50
My opinion is slightly muddle. Firstly, in today’s world, and knowing that things like that could happen, there is no way is this world that I would let my child stand alone at a bus stop. Though I do understand that the situation could have been out of their hands as they may not have been an option. Secondly, I believe that children are being killed at bus stop far too often and there needs to be something done to assure that this stops happening.

The article I choose was posted by NBC news which is directed by Noah Oppenheim. On the NBC news website their claim to their audience is that they intend to satisfy all audiences. Although, I believe that while reading their article they have a drive towards supporting environmental awareness.
