The BBC stands for the British Broadcasting Corporation. The BBC has many followers in the gay communities, ethnic minorities, and young people. This makes the BBC have more liberal news. The BBC posts about breaking news, sports, weather, and news around the world. Google is shutting down much of its network google plus because it leaked user info. There was a bug in the system where the user information was able to be leaked by third party organizations. Over 500,000 people were affected. Google plus was made in 2011 and was googles attempt to compete with social media power Facebook. I think that is very wrong that peoples personal information got leaked. Google is one of the richest and most successful companies in the world so I do not understand how they could make such a silly mistake. When using a big company like google you should be able to expect that your personal information will be safe from third party organizations. I also did not like how in the article it said google discovered the bug in March but did not release it to the public because they felt the it was not a serious issue. However I think it is a very serious issue and I am a little disappointed that google would allow such nonsense at its company.

The article I choose was posted by NBC news which is directed by Noah Oppenheim. On the NBC news website their claim to their audience is that they intend to satisfy all audiences. Although, I believe that while reading their article they have a drive towards supporting environmental awareness. The tone in the article felt as if they were almost agreeing with the lawyers and other people behind the movement of wanting cigarette butts banned. In the article "Plastic Straw ban?
