Fox News is one of the most trusted and well known news sources in America. Fox News covers all types of news such as politics, sports, business, etc. Fox is known to be a more conservative news station. Tiger Woods, one of the most famous athletes in the world, won a tournament for the first time in nearly 10 years. He lost most of his sponsors after a scandal in 2008 after being one of the most marketable stars in all of sports. With Tiger rising again it will lead to an increase in golf viewership and sales. Tiger Woods is without a doubt the most well know golfer in the world. His success only means good things and more money for the sports industry. The tour championship Woods won had a 187% in viewership from last year, which is known as the Tiger effect. The Tiger effect is how golf make a substantial amount more money when Tiger Woods is succeeding because more people are interested in golf. Sponsors are more willing to pay big bucks for advertisements during golf matches when Tiger Woods is doing well because they know people are more interested and more likely to watch.  Even after not winning a championship in over 10 years, after Woods win this weekend he is now the favorite to win the 2019 Masters. I am personally glad to see Tiger Woods doing well again. It means golf is doing well and makes it more interesting.  It makes me more interested in golf and i wish Tiger Woods the best of luck the rest of his career.

The article I choose was posted by NBC news which is directed by Noah Oppenheim. On the NBC news website their claim to their audience is that they intend to satisfy all audiences. Although, I believe that while reading their article they have a drive towards supporting environmental awareness.
