Today my current event source is NBC news. NBC is a very well known TV station with high credibility and another solidity factor to me is I have never heard anything bad about NBC from either side of political views. I did some research into NBC with this being said because I wanted to know what they were all about. NBC is about always being factually correct and trying to have no bias at all. They were founded in 1940 and before posting any news they always have several analysis on these articles to check facts and solidify the content.

The article i chose was about why most athletes are not arrested for on the field fights. Although this insident was not on the field it was on the basketball court. In the los Angles Lakers Vs. the Houston Rockets game Chris Paul or (CP3) was caught in a all out brawl with Rondo and tempers fired up fast causing both players to be ejected yet no one arrested. Some people ask the question why was one player not arrested for assault like any other person would be? The answer to that is simple they are not any other person they are professionals putting there life aside to go to work in something they love doing and pride them selves in so of course if you dont like something that happens your goung to react that is the nature of the beast of sports.

My analysis of the article is that is is very good and concise everything i researched was on point and wasn't bias to one player or another in the brawl. It simply answers the question of why they are not arrested and why they shouldnt be. I really liked this because it shows both points of view and backs up why its a different subject for them and how it only helps the league because they have all these great policies set up and crack down on any situation like this every player involved was suspended for 2+ games which takes out of their pay checks.

My opinion on this article is that it is very good and i agree completely i played 2-3 sports my whole life and i know how it can be on and off the field how the pressure and everything affects your mindset/ego. I'm glad the situation was handled the way it was there is no reason for anyone to go to jail for a little competitive nature and not wanting to back down although that is too far suspensions are the best way to handle this and I truly believe that.
