Assesment of News Source: The Source of this article came from Fox News. Fox is an United States pay yelevision news channel created by an Australian-American named Rupert Murdoch. Foc News is known for biased reporting towards the Republican Party even though many of the news reporters hired by Fox news say that they are not. But they continue to be a reliable news source throughout millions of households within the US.
Summary of the Article: This article is about an older white male creating a racsist scene towards an older black lady on a flight owned by Rayanair. The older guy refused to sit next to her and was verbally aggressive towards her to either move on her own or he will move her. Flight attendents tried to calm the situation down but the end result came to them finding another seat for the woman and giving no consequence to the older male. Because of this result, the flight company Ryanair is recieving much hate with how they handled the situation.
Analysis: The writer, Michael Bartiromo, does a great job with not only stating what happened throughout this event but also providing a video to show proof of this event and also tweets of other passengers of the flight regarding what they saw. He definetly takes a ethos and logos approach to this and does a great job reporting all corners of the story.
Opinion: I believe that Ryanair should have handled this situation much more differently. With what has been going on throughout the world with rascism, there should not be a question of kicking this rascist guy out of the plane. For him to react the way he did is unreal, he bought an economy seat on a public plane with many other people and he makes a big deal about him choosing who he wants to sit next to him. If he really cares so much about who sits next to him then he should have just bought a first class ticket or just dont fly at all. Ryanair should recieve consequences for how they handled the sitution and they should immediatly change some of their policies so if something like this were to occur again they will handle it much better.
