              My source for this weeks current event was fox news. Fox news is a very reliable source they talk to a lot of experts on the topics to get everyone's view on what they are talking about. They are known for being one of the better news stations and more truthful i think than places like CNN who lean way to one side of any political view. They ask lots of good questions and get more answers on issues and try to talk out what they need to know. This article also has a video to help out to which makes it even more of a credible source.

This article is called Trump Fires back at Obama. Boasts hes got "magic wand on economy". This was made today on September 10th 2018. Obama comes out at a press conference and says hes currently reminding republicans this economy was because of his reforms and that he is responsible for most of the good happening right now in the economy. Although proven by expert Professor Peter Maruicchi he shows the statistics that as Obama was slightly growing so he gives him that credit but Trump exponentially grew better as he has a 4.2 GDP. Obama also commented on that saying Trump would have to have a magic wand to get to 4% GDP.

This article seems to be very back and fourth and shows both sides credit which i like its very balanced and the video also helps that balance as well and shows both point of views. It also has pictures of tweets back and fourth between the current and former president which always very entertaining. I will say however as it shows both sides of the issue it seems more that way in the video and more leaning towards President Trump in the article as it attacks the old president. Not with their own words though i think this is okay they collected facts and truth and put it all together and it does make total sense to me why they say that Obama cant take credit for this because Trump has cut out policies that weren't working and put in ones that are making the economy prosper and thrive. They even show a graph to prove that which is why i think this is very good.

In my opinion I totally agree with this article and that Obama's roast on Trump was a fail becuase it didnt make sense Trumps numbers speak for themselves no one can argue that. I also am republican and i do have biased towards this issue but i really feel that there isnt anything to really argue here as i looked up the facts and everything is correct and with how fast the economy has skyrocketed i do not believe Obama can take credit For this amazing economy we have right now and who knows if Obama was still president we may not have what we are at right now.

The article I choose was posted by NBC news which is directed by Noah Oppenheim. On the NBC news website their claim to their audience is that they intend to satisfy all audiences. Although, I believe that while reading their article they have a drive towards supporting environmental awareness. The tone in the article felt as if they were almost agreeing with the lawyers and other people behind the movement of wanting cigarette butts banned. In the article "Plastic Straw ban? Cigarette butts are the single greatest source of ocean trash" there is a great amount of information supporting the facts behind cigarettes being the greatest source of trash in the ocean.
