Assessment of the Source- Founded in 1851, The New York Times as been a staple in journalism for a long time. Founded by a banker and a journalist, the paper has provided coverage on current events, entertainment, art, music, and countless other topics throughout it's history.

Summary of the Article- This article breaks down some of the problems of the new tariffs that President Trump has placed on Chinese imports. It interviews several factory owners who have already started to move their productions out of China and into other countries, like Cambodia and Taiwan. The article also focuses on the struggle that several of the owners are going through because they have to source multiple parts for their products from multiple countries, which takes longer and can lead to more mistakes in the chain of things.

Analysis of the Article- This article does a very good job of describing what is going on in production markets, and what is happening in the minds of the people who run factories in China. It shows the hardships they're going through because of the tariffs placed on Chinese goods. It even mentions at one point how one manufacturer is finding a loophole by assembling their products outside of China, but shipping it from China, all so they don't have to put China as a country of origin on their certificate.

Opinion- In my opinion this article serves as a nice view into the manufacturing industry, and the sorts of things that happen after tariffs have been imposed. I think it offers nice insight into how other countries are starting to get interest from companies wanting to start their factories there, allowing for a window into how the economy of the world can be hurt, but can also advance from the tariffs that are being imposed.
