CE 2 ABC

The article i found this week is from ABC. ABC is A private company just like the rest of them. The article i found is about the Pope recently caught covering up more molestation accusations. No immediate bias' to religion or against it was apparent. ABC is the company that has had Nightline and To Catch a Predator. So they seem to be in the pursuit of truth and what's right a little more than the other guys. The article explains that accusations have been made against high ranking catholic priests for a few years and now the Pope is in danger because he was called out for covering things up for at least two years. It goes on to say that this week the Pope and his most trusted will meet to come up with an official explanation on how the Pope did not cover anything up. The article continues with things such as a certain misconduct case has been fact since 2000. Then mentions that cover ups and secrets are nothing knew and have been cause for uproar for seventy years. It wraps up by ending a little abruptly telling of two high ranking cardinals in other parts of the world still facing allegations. The article sounds pretty balanced. I didn't notice any strong language veering toward one side or the other. The facts were there and the only strong language that did stick out was how significant it was that the Pope's position is in serious trouble. The article was short and didn't weigh much. However, it was full of facts and wasn't saturated with an agenda or bias. The only bad thing about the article is it just ends with no conclusion.The only things i have to say is this is a subject very important to me and i'm glad they weren't trying to make anyone look good but also weren't trying to beat it into people's heads.

The article I choose was posted by NBC news which is directed by Noah Oppenheim. On the NBC news website their claim to their audience is that they intend to satisfy all audiences. Although, I believe that while reading their article they have a drive towards supporting environmental awareness. The tone in the article felt as if they were almost agreeing with the lawyers and other people behind the movement of wanting cigarette butts banned. In the article "Plastic Straw ban?
