CNN or Cable News Network is an American news-based pay television company. Owned by Turner Broadcasting system that's a division of AT&T and Warner Media. It was founded in 1980 by Ted Turner and was the first network to provide 24 hour news coverage. Its more of a liberal based company and it has received many awards for international reporting and best sports news reporting. CNN has been proving news coverage for years and is a leading news source.

On September 23, 2018 it was reported that multiple people had found needles inside strawberries in New Zealand. They were found in a major name brand sold in many supermarket chains; the brand Choice strawberries were recalled from shelves for having sewing needles and pins found inside of them. The brand choice Is an Australia based company and the strawberries were recalled in Australia as well. No one was to be reported hurt by the incident .The investigation is still on going to discover who or how the needles got into the strawberries. The prime minster Scott Morrison and Australian government has made this a Federal investigation.

Chandler Thornton and Eric Levenson used logos and ethos throughout the article. They used logos by providing correct facts and information about the situation. They used ethos by relating it to the people of New Zealand as well as Australia because this situation directly effects the people that buy, grow and produce these strawberries. They also used ethos by directly quoting the prime minster of Australia. He stated "you're a coward and you're a grub, and if you do that sort of thing in this county, we will come after you." This effects the emotions of the reader and shows the amount of pride that the prime minster has for his country.

I have never understood the reason why put things such as needles or razor blades in food. This could have become a huge problem if anyone who had bought the strawberries has actually eaten them. This is one of the lowest ways to hurt someone or try and make a statement to the public. Food should be the one thing that people around the world should not have to worry that it's filled with harmful objects. The food we buy from supermarkets we should be able to trust and know that it's not contaminated or harmful.
