PARENTS FACE TOUGHER RULES TO GET IMMIGRANT CHILDREN BACK

The Associated Press is an American multinational nonprofit news agency headquartered in New York City. The AP is owned by its contributing newspapers, radio, and television stations in the United States, all of which contribute stories to the AP and use material written by its staff journalists. Associated Press was founded in 1846 and currently has 3,200 employees. In 2016 the company won the Pulitzer Prize for public service.
This Article talks about how under the trump administration it has become tougher for parents whom are  here illegally to get there kids back after there kids have been sent alone to cross the border from there countries seeking refugee. Before thousands of kids used to come from central America and were immediately granted access and released to relatives here in the united states. This process used to been taking care of by Health and Human Service Department's Office of Refugee Resettlement, while adults where handled by ICE. But now the process of these kids must go through ICE also and all sponsors whom with the kids are supposed to stay with have to provide finger print, but most of the family members/sponsors of these kids are afraid to give there finger prints because then ICE is able to deport them as well and know where to go get them. So kids are now staying detained for over 3 months in jail because ICE wont release them to family unless they provide them with finger prints and personal info.
The article is basically showing the hardship of some of these illegal immigrant families are going through ever since trump changed the policy and got tougher on the process. The article is trying to show sympathy on these illegal families and kids, by telling how long they have been detained and how they have to go through. The article showing kind of a understanding of why trump made these stricter rules, understandable trump don't wont these kids to be unsafe and live with someone who may have a criminal record.
In my opinion, I understand that trump wants is the safety of these refugee children, but I think they shouldn't be deporting and hunting down these sponsors/ family of these kids just because they are here illegal. All the family members are doing to trying to cooperate with officials to get there kids back. but if I'm trying to cooperate by giving ICE my fingerprints and information and then to find out they are coming after me just because I'm illegal I wouldn't wont to give my finger prints or will notify any other families not to do it because all they wont fingerprints for is to be able to go out and hunt you down. so they really don't wont finger printing to see if the families or sponsors they are staying with are criminals, they wont fingerprints to see if the sponsors are illegal and then deporting them. I think they should continue with the finger printing process for all sponsors but must not deport them just because they are illegal, all they trying to do is help.
