Serena Williams is calling got into an argument because she was given code violations that she called unfair and sexiest. During the game the fines added up to 17,000 dollars. The person that she accused of being sexiest was the umpire for just doing his job. H caught her coach giving her hand signs for the stands and gave her a penalty for that, she also got a penalty for smashing her ratchet and breaking it on the court because she lost. The one that she called sexiest was the penalty that she got for calling the umpire a thief for given her penalties. She said that guys have never gotten penalties for calling the umpire a Thief. After the game in an interview she said that she called the umpire a thief for taking the game away from her with all the penalties that she re sieved. She is a fighter for women's rights and she said that she felt violated by the umpire because he was being a sexiest but she will still fight for women's right despite what happen in the game that day. The umpire was going by the book though the article says and he was just doing his job.
Opinion: In my opinion she was just mad or having a bad day to begin with and was trying to find someone to take it out on. She went a little to far saying that the umpire was being sexiest for doing his job. How does she know all the calls that he has made against male athletes. She is a fighter for women's rights and in my opinion she just took the whole situation way to far and breaking your ratchet against the ground does deserved to get a penalty for that. It does say though that women or not being treated fairly in the tennis world. So at the same time I feel for her and hope she continues to fight for women's rights. They need more women like Mrs. Williams to fight for women's rights.
